Ankylosing Spondylitis

Ankylosing spondylitis ( AS ) is a form of arthritis . It affects mainly the lower back . Other joints and sometimes other parts of the body are affected . Treatment includes regular exercise and anti -inflammatory medications . Varies from mild to severe , such as intensity . In most cases it is mild or moderate . About 8 in 10 people with such completely independent or have a minimum long-term disabled and can not work full-time for the whole of a normal working life . The spine is made up of many bones called vertebrae. The vertebrae are roughly circular and between each vertebra is a disc.
